Hotel Del Mar is located in the heart of Barcelona, a few metres from the sea and near the Barri Gòtic. A bustling square, halfway between Las Rambles and Parque de la Ciutadella serves as an anteroom to the building, which has been declared a monument of artistic interest. Its proximity to Barceloneta beach and El Moll de la Fusta provides some rooms with views of the port. The four-storey building has recently undergone refurbishment, which has modernised its interiors without affecting the elegant 19th century façade of the building.This has enabled an updating of the interior spaces, such as the lounge and the large dining hall where the buffet breakfast is served. The Mediterranean Sea is also reflected in the décor of the hotel, enlivened by maritime objects, navigation maps and paintings, and the clear predominance of blue tones. Spaciousness and functionality are the main characteristics of the 72 double rooms, all with bathroom, TV and Internet access. Some rooms have a pleasant balcony or terrace.
