Els Casals hotel occupies an old farmhouse situated in an extensive estate in the Baix Berguedà. This small family hotel is located just outside Sagas, on a hill with excellent views of the surrounding area. The area around the building, a stone house with a gable roof, retains homes that belonged to the former farm workers.The interior of the building retains much of the original appearance, with lounges with vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. The décor features beautifully preserved antique furniture, including some interesting pieces. The eight rooms are spacious and all have bathrooms. Two have their own living room. They are decorated in a simple way and furnished with carved wooden beds. They are on the first floor, which is accessible by lift. A cosy little restaurant with eight tables serves slow-cooked regional stews. It also ventures into creative cuisine: warm salads, creamy rice and pigs' trotters stuffed with snails. The buffet-style breakfast serves a variety of savoury and sweet options prepared on the hotel premises.
