La Tasca Al-Andalus

La Tasca Al-Andalus is a very small restaurant in Vilassar de Dalt which has been serving traditional Andalusian cuisine since 1987. The dishes are made with produce from the market gardens of the El Maresme region (floreta peas, green beans, strawberries, ganxet beans) and fish and shellfish, for example, monkfish, fresh anchovies, king prawns, hake, sole and cuttlefish. Highly recommended house specialities include oxtail, salmorejo (cold tomato soup, thicker than gazpacho), artichokes with serrano ham, lean Iberian pork fillet or lamb in honey.
