In Barcelona’s Port Vell, in the maritime district of Barceloneta, La Mar Salada was established in 1993 by a family with a century of experience in restaurants, after their work at the nearby Can Ros. The cuisine has a focus on seafood - with rice, tapas, fish and seafood - but avoids the stereotypes of portside restaurants thanks to the work of Marc Singla, in the kitchens, and Albert Enrich, creating desserts. A good selection of wines completes the offering.
