EsbioEsfera Restaurante

Esbioesfera is an educational, social, environmental and gastronomic project created by Jordi Bonet and Gemma Velasco. The project includes the Esbioesfera Escuela and the Esbioesfera Restaurante.In 2013, Jordi and Gemma decided to open a restaurant to be able to communicate knowledge about organic agriculture, self-sufficiency and urban environmental protection outside the classroom environment. They therefore offer a menu of Mediterranean produce with vegetables cultivated in their market garden. This means that the menu changes every month or every week, as the produce grown in the market garden changes with the seasons.Specialities include tomato mil maravillas, triangles of cheese with tomato jam and vegetable chutney, and balls of potato stuffed with goat’s cheese and red peppers.The restaurant also has a pretty terrace decorated with plant motifs which creates and intimate and romantic ambience in the evenings.
