Joan Abelló i Prat (1922-2008), el pintor de Mollet del Vallès, va ser un col·leccionista apassionat. Al llarg de la seva vida va aplegar milers de peces, obres d’art i objectes de tota mena que encabia a la casa on va néixer i que, amb els anys, va haver d’ampliar annexant-hi les cases veïnes. Aquest museu és la Casa del Pintor Abelló, una joia per descobrir.

Al matí, curset de windsurf o sortida amb caiac. A la tarda, un passeig en optimist per sentir a la pell la carícia de la brisa o una sessió d'esquí nàutic. El Camí vora el Ter és un sender de gran recorregut, el GR 210, que ressegueix el curs d'aquest riu al seu pas per la comarca d'Osona. Una proposta de 3 etapes, una mica llargues però sense cap dificultat, que permet la visita als nuclis de Montesquiu, Torelló, Roda de Ter i Manlleu. El camí passa per recursos naturals de gran interès com els meandres del Gelabert i colònies industrials que expliquen com el riu també ha marcat el desenvolupament industrial i humà de la comarca.

Per fortuna, cada cop més persones gaudeixen dels plaers de la creació artística: formar-se, investigar, practicar, produir, difondre i exposar interessa a un bon grapat de gent de totes les edats, amb independència de gèneres, orientacions sexuals, recursos econòmics o nivells educatius.
