From the Serra del Cadí in the Pre-Pyrenees to the Mediterranean coast, you’ll find a wide variety of impressive landscapes in the natural areas of the regions of Barcelona. The pine forests of Maresme, the wetlands of Baix Llobregat, the cliffs of Garraf, the vineyards of Penedès or the rugged mountains of Berguedà are all magnificent settings that you can explore on foot, by bicycle or —why not?— on horseback. In an area with plenty of waymarked trails and a superb range of equestrian tourism options, what’s stopping you from going for a gallop?

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

In Costa Barcelona, and only 30 kilometres from the city of Barcelona, motorsport enthusiasts have at their disposal a sporting facility that is the envy of many. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is an exceptional race track, which, every season, hosts important racing car and motorcycling Grands Prix. Besides sunbathing and lounging about on the sand, Costa Barcelona offers a wide range of activities for you to make full use of your free time. On its beaches and in its marinas, you can take part in sports like kayaking, windsurfing and sailing. And very close by, you will find excellent facilities to play football, volleyball and basketball, go swimming or do athletics. The desire to promote sport is so strong that three coastal municipalities have managed to achieve 'Sports Holiday Destination' status. Do you know which ones?
