Discover the Costa Barcelona

Peaks with the kids

Let’s not beat about the bush: what we’re proposing here is reaching peaks, so there’s definitely some uphill effort involved. But hey, they’re perfectly manageable with a little effort, including for young kids of walking age. You’ll find that little mountains can also offer great panoramic views.

Maresme strawberries, Arenys de Munt

Would you like to see how the delicious strawberries of the Maresme area are grown? Are you keen to find out how malvasia wine from Sitges is made? Do you fancy seeing a cold cuts production facility in action or having a beekeeper show you their hives? We’ve prepared a gastronomic route for you in the regions of Barcelona on which you’ll discover where everything you eat comes from.

Landscape of vineyards in the Penedès region

Skirting around the Foix Reservoir, this route is split into two stages: from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia to Sant Pere Molanta (very close to Vilafranca), and from there to Castellet i la Gornal. In addition to natural places of interest, the route also takes in jewels of cultural heritage such as the Monastery of Sant Sebastià and the Monumental Site of Olèrdola.
