Rías de Galicia

Located alongside the Barcelona Trade Fair Hall, it is one of the best places in the city to eat fish and seafood. The menu is brimming with fresh products, normally straight from Galicia, such as oysters, Carril clams, barnacles, small crabs, lobsters and other molluscs and crustaceans from the big fish tank at the entrance. Some suggestions include clams à la marinière, stir-fried sea cucumbers, sea bass with wild mushroom and caviar or the terrine of foie gras on ceps confit with green asparagus and vinaigrette as well as traditional dishes from the Galician cookbook such as Galician broth, octopus a la feira or shoulder of pork with turnip tops. As for desserts, Galician cuisine is widely represented with cream horns and a splendid selection of cakes and cheese. Enormous wine cellar holding over 30,000 bottles with a varied wine list that features not only Spanish denominations of origin but also wines from other countries.
