Caldeni

Caldeni is a restaurant in the Sagrada Família neighbourhood of Barcelona. It is a small establishment with minimalist and simple décor. The choice on the menu is not very broad, but it is certainly varied and the choice of beef products is outstanding, being the true house speciality. For starters there are dishes such as marinated sardines with stewed tomato focaccia and mi-cuit with dried apricots and mandarin. These dishes may seem simple, but they demonstrate the overriding interest in the quality of the products and their combination. Thanks to chef Dani Lechuga’s lengthy family experience in the import of meats, Caldeni offers a selection of these of the highest quality and from the most notable meat regions in the world: Kobe beef, Nebraska Angus beef and French beef. But for anyone who doesn’t like beef, there are plenty of other delicious options to choose from: loin of cod with fresh ratatouille, crunchy suckling pig with tarragon, and baked apple.
