Inaugurated in December 2014, the restaurant Disfrutar is the latest venture by its three chefs and owners, Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch, who met while they were training and working at elBulli. They also launched the restaurant Compartir together in Cadaqués in 2012.Just one year after opening Disfrutar, their avant-garde cuisine - in the form of a tasting menu, with dishes of great Mediterranean personality adapted to the products available in the market - has earned the restaurant two Michelin stars and two suns in the Guía Repsol.It is found in the Eixample, in front of the Ninot market, whose framework inspires part of the decoration and the access area. Inside, ceramic tiles are the key features during the journey towards a white and luminous main dining room that evokes small fishing villages.
