Mas Albereda

Seven centuries of history are hidden behind the hotel’s walls and the Mas Alameda restaurant, located in the peaceful town of Sant Julià de Vilatorta. At the head of the kitchen is chef Nando Jubany, who offers carefully made signature recipes based on market cuisine and year-round seasonal produce. Although the dishes are presented in an original way and follow trends set out by the latest cuisine, the portions are still large. So it’s not only the quality that’s guaranteed, but the quantity too. Amongst the fine gastronomy on offer, you will find first courses including fig, cottage cheese and anchovy salad; milk-fed lamb cannelloni; sardines and fruit; octopus confit with carrots, and roast farmhouse chicken cannelloni. In terms of second courses, the offer includes creamed pumpkin and mushrooms, duck magret with potatoes, cod - oven baked or confit with tomatoes -, salmon with a purée of leek and potatoes or beans and mushrooms, as well as the Iberain suckling pig terrine with fruit. For dessert there are ice creams made on-site, chocolate cupcakes, cinnamon milkshake with fruits, cottage cheese with fruit, nuts and honey, white chocolate mousse, and grilled pineapple with ice cream.
