Llobregat Path (GR 270)
An extraordinary journey following the Llobregat River from its source in the Pyrenees to its mouth in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Llobregat Path is a long-distance path that runs along the Llobregat River from its source, at the Llobregat Sources in Castellar de n'Hug, to its mouth, in El Prat de Llobregat. The route crosses the province from north to south and runs through a wide range of landscapes, from the Pyrenees to the Llobregat delta. In turn, the cultural and historical interest of this route is huge. We would like to highlight, for example, the entire route along the middle course of the river, between Berga and Manresa, which links many textile colonies that bear witness to all the social and economic changes that took place in the country during the Industrial Revolution.

If you have a curious mind and are looking for a family-friendly activity, then plan a day trip to the colònies tèxtils (textile model villages) of the regions of Barcelona. Built between the end of the 19th century and the early 20th century, they’re still full of working machines, fabrics you’re allowed to touch and plenty of amazing stories.
