Gastronomy and wine tourism

The Gallecs Rural Area, in the municipality of Mollet del Vallès, is a break in the middle of a completely urban area; an oasis of peace for the modern and active Vallès region. Here, the preservation of nature and traditional agriculture are combined with leisure activities and environmental education.

Anoia is a region to be discovered step by step, along rivers and trails, but also tasted at the table. Its gastronomy reflects an agricultural and livestock land, marked by the balance between tradition and creativity. No need for great artifices: typical dishes of Anoia are born from local products, cooked with simplicity and wisdom. A landscape that enters through the eyes and stays on the palate.

A wine-growing region full of contrasts, with a gentle landscape that is just perfect for exploring it on foot, by road bike or on a mountain bike. This is the Alt Penedès, a region close to the sea with a privileged climate, where the gastronomic, cultural and, of course, wine tourism offerings make a visit a very pleasant, perhaps unforgettable, experience. From grazing cows, sheep and goats to the table in the form of cheese and dairy desserts. There are no secrets in the Lluçanès area; head there whenever it takes your fancy to discover the journey of milk from pasture fields, farms and processing plants to restaurants.

The Bages region has been home to vineyards since the 16^th century. However, in recent years, the wines produced there have obtained the DO (Designation of Origin) Pla de Bages quality seal. The local grape variety of the region is picapoll, which produces a fruity white wine with a fresh bouquet and a wonderful texture and personality, as you will discover on the DO Pla de Bages Wine Route.
